- A new vintage train service, the Siena Express, is set to launch in Italy this autumn, connecting Rome to Siena.
- The service will operate on three weekends: 27 September, 4 October, and 1 November, departing from Roma Termini.
- Passengers will travel in restored 1970s "Gran Confort" carriages, offering a journey described as an immersion into the "soul of Tuscany".
- The Siena Express will include an onboard bar service and make stops at various towns en route, with tickets starting from €49.
- The operator also recently launched the Munich Express, a night train from Rome to Munich for Oktoberfest, featuring an onboard party atmosphere.
