Landscapers: New trailer out for Susan and Christopher Edwards grisly murder drama

A new trailer has offered a glimpse of Olivia Colman starring in a new series - a new chilling drama about a pair of grizzly Nottinghamshire murders.

Sky Original drama Landscapers, which is inspired by real events, stars Colman and Harry Potter star David Thewlis as a mild-mannered couple whose lives are turned upside down after dead bodies are discovered in the back garden of a house.

The drama is based on true events that occurred in 2013 when Susan Edwards and her husband Christopher were found to have murdered Susan’s parents back in 1998.

The four-part drama will be based around the gruesome murder in Forest Town.

The parents, Pat and Bill Wycherley, were shot and buried in the garden of their home in Blenheim Close unbeknownst to neighbours who believed the pair had gone travelling.

Over the next 15 years Susan and her husband stole their money, sold the house, and even wrote fake Christmas cards to relatives.

The pair have been described as having been “on the run from reality for 15 years".

In ‘Landscapers’ the couple fall into a dream world while police investigate what happened to Mr and Mrs Wycherley.

The trailer shows the pair in the midst of an intense investigation into them and at the end it appears to show the pair standing trial in court.

Landscapers, which has been created by Ed Sinclair and directed by Will Sharpe, is a co-production between Sky and HBO.

The series, filmed across Nottinghamshire, will premiere on Sky Atlantic and streaming service Now on December 7.
