Located just a stone's throw away from buzzing Bold Street and Hardman Street, it often isn't as busy as its neighbours but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be.

New restaurant Hibiki joins favourites like The Butterfly and the Grasshopper and Chy Liverpool.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the hospitality industry, and has in some instances led to the permanent closure of independent shops, businesses, restaurants and more.

The government's roadmap out of lockdown saw all restrictions lifted on July 19, with many food haunts keen to welcome back customers and make up for lost time, while new venues like Hibiki hope to make their mark on our city.

Hibiki is open from 12.30pm until 9.30pm.
