New timetable for Transpennine Express from Sunday - check your route here

A new timetable will come into force for Transpennine Express services through Leeds this weekend.

Changes are being made on several routes, including trains between Leeds and Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, the North East and York, and will come into effect from Sunday.

You can check the changes to your route by clicking the links below.

Transpennine has also announced a change to how cycling passengers book a space for their bike.

Previously cyclists had to book a space 24 hours in advance, but passengers can now book a bike space up to 10 minutes before travelling via WhatsApp and on social media.

Folding bikes do not need to be booked on.

Leo Goodwin, managing director for TransPennine Express, said: “At the end of last year we made some changes that have significantly improved performance and made our services much more reliable.

“This May, we are going to take the opportunity to make additional refinements to our plans that build on the improvements already made.”
