New Ted Bundy documentary Falling For A Killer arrives on Amazon Prime on Friday

A new documentary series on serial killer Ted Bundy is out on Friday.

The new series, entitled Ted Bundy: Falling For A Killer, is out on Amazon Prime Video and follows Bundy's crimes but from the viewpoint of his former long-term girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall.

Viewers will also hear from other victims of the infamous serial murderer and also from Elizabeth's daughter Molly.

The official synopsis from Amazon for the series states: "For the first time, Ted Bundy's long-term girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall, her daughter Molly, and other survivors come forward to share their experiences with unsettling new details about Bundy, the pull he had on women and an abundant archive of never-before-seen family photos."

The new show will examine what Bundy did from "a female perspective" and also examine his hatred of women amidst "the culture wars and feminist movements of the 1970s".

True crime fans will be most intrigued to hear Kendall discuss her relationship with Bundy and his behaviour away from his vile acts.

The trailer features Elizabeth discussing the hold that Bundy had on her and other women.

"I fell in love with him from day one," says Elizabeth in the show, "but there were all these coincidences. I couldn't let it go."

Elizabeth was recently portrayed by actress Lily Collins in the much-publicised film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which starred Zac Efron as Bundy and attempted to tell Elizabeth's story.

The film and the Netflix documentary series The Ted Bundy Tapes has shown that interest in the killer does not seem to have diminished.

Ted Bundy: Falling For A Killer is released on Amazon Prime Video on January 31, 2020.
