New team joins the Redskins in the bottom tier of USA TODAY’s NFL Power Rankings

The latest round of the NFL power rankings have been released, and there’s some movement going on near the bottom of the league. The Washington Redskins, who came in at No. 30 in last week’s edition of USA TODAY’s rankings, moved down one spot to No. 31 after losing to the San Francisco 49ers at home and failing to get into the red zone more than once on the day.

For the second time this season, the Redskins are now ranked below the Miami Dolphins, who are openly attempting to lose every game. However, a bunch of movement in the bottom tier of teams could have fans questioning just who exactly is the worst team in the NFL. Here’s how the bottom of the barrel shakes out.

32. Cincinnati Bengals

31. Washington Redskins

30. Atlanta Falcons

29. Miami Dolphins

That’s right, the Atlanta Falcons have now entered the lowest of lows…they’re now on the first page of the power rankings, smack dab in that “25-32” category.

Welcome, Atlanta. It’s nice to have you along for the ride. Make yourself at home, we’re almost halfway through the season. Here is a projected mock draft in case you’re interested.
