A new takeaway restaurant has opened in Aigburth, serving handmade wood fired pizzas.
Liverpool is home to an abundance of incredible restaurants, cafes and takeaways, with new food haunts popping up regularly with the people behind them keen to make their mark on the city.
You can't beat a decent pizza and now Aigburth is home to a new takeaway restaurant.

Pitfire is located on Aigburth Road and offers a wide range of freshly made wood-fired pizzas. The pizza dough is handmade and left to rest for a minimum of 48 hours.
The south Liverpool spot's menu boasts a selection of signature pizzas, vegan pizzas and customisable pizzas. There's also black dough pizza available for those who want their food with a twist.
Pitfire also has a large selection of sides and starters, as well as pasta, salads, dips and drinks.
The takeaway's team took to Instagram to share the news of the grand opening last week and penned: "We are so excited to announce that we are opening tomorrow!"
The venue is open seven days a week from 4pm until 11pm.
