New stunning Edinburgh vegan deli and bakery opens in former beauty salon

A brand new delicatessen and bakery has opened its doors on Inverleith Row - with a twist.

Everything at Plantz Delicatessen is completely plant-based and the team have been teasing Edinburgh locals with images of their dishes and shop interior for months.

But now the wait is over as Plantz is now officially open for business at 63 Inverleith Row in what was once a beauty salon.

As well as having a whole host of dishes to enjoy in store and 'plant based food to finish off at home', the new venue also stocks coffee beans, dried flowers bouquets, groceries and a few organic veggie boxes.

Plantz also sell their very own homemade 'cheese and meats', such as cream cheese made from cashews and 'pastrami'.

For those on the go, there's a massive range of filling-packed bagels and sandwiches (we've got our eyes of their 'lox' bagel) and their bakery side of the business stocks babka, bread and huge cakes.

Plantz is now open at 63 Inverleith Row, you can follow them on Instagram and find out more here.
