New Starbucks drive-thru to open at Govan retail park this week

A new Starbucks cafe and drive-thru is opening in Glasgow this week.

The outlet in Govan 's Junction 24 Retail Park is opening on Friday, October 16 from 6am for drive-thru, sit in and takeaway.

New rules mean you can only sit in the cafe until 6pm, but you can still grab a drink from the drive-thru until 10pm.

You can also order over Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay and Uber Eats.

For all you Govanites who love a signature Pumpkin Spice latte or a Frappuccino, it'll save you heading to branches in town or to a shopping centre for your caffeine fix.

It's the latest addition for the retail park on Helen Street, which is also to be joined by supermarket Aldi.

The store, which will take over a site on the Junction 24 retail park, is set to create up to 35 jobs.

Plans submitted by Aldi state the development will bring “significant levels of new investment” – up to around £2.1m – into the area.
