A new Starbucks drive-thru has opened in Newark-on-Trent creating 20 jobs.

The coffee shop opened in Godfrey Drive, Winthorpe for the first time on Monday, May 24.

The new outlet, just off the A17, will be operated by the Starbucks licensee Kbeverage Limited, which is headquartered in Norwich and has Starbucks chains across various parts of the country.

A spokesperson for the coffee chain said: “A new Starbucks store opened at Winthorpe Park, Newark-on-Trent, on Monday 24 May.

"Operated by Starbucks licensee, Kbeverage Limited, the store has created 20 new jobs for the local area.”

Kbeverage recently opened the Queen's Drive outlet in Nottingham, which also brought 20 new jobs to the area.

Speaking on March 15 when the Nottingham outlet opened, Alok Yadav, director of Kbeverage, said: "We are excited to open our first store in Nottingham and becoming a part of the local community.
