A new Starbucks is opening in Carmarthen - the first drive-thru in the area.
The store at Parc Pensarn will open on Friday, November 27.
The coffee giant had plans approved to build the coffee shop in August 2019.
The development, which will be approximately 1,800 square feet in size, will be accessible through the car park, with a ‘drive-thru lane’ going around the side and back of the shop itself.
To celebrate the opening, which has created 20 jobs, the first 10 customers to visit the store will receive a gift box filled with Starbucks merchandise.
Customers are invited to visit the store to enjoy Starbucks holiday menu, with returning festive favourites the Toffee Nut Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Eggnog Latte.
There's also new items this season, including the Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate and The One with the Gravy Layer Sandwich.
Gayl Norman, General Manager at The Magic Bean Company, said: “We are so excited to open our new store in Carmarthen and the team are closely following guidance from both the local government and health authorities to keep everyone safe in-store. We can’t wait to start welcoming new faces over the next few weeks.”

The store will be ‘to-go’ only until December 11, with customers able to order for takeaway using Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay and Drive Thru services.
While Starbucks already has an outlet inside the University of Wales Trinity St David campus in Carmarthen, this project will represent their first drive-thru establishment in the area.
