New south side food and drink spot replaces Tapa Coffeehouse

Glasgow's south side is set for a new food and drink venue, replacing the former Tapa Coffeehouse on Pollokshaws Road.

Gray's Kitchen will soon throw open its doors to southsiders, offering coffee - supplied by Dear Green coffee roasters - wine, beers, breakfast, brunch and evening meals.

And there's a good chance you'll be able to try it out soon. The owner taking to Facebook to say on Friday: "Hopefully we should be open next week."

With the Gray's Kitchen signage already in place, the new cafe/restaurant finds itself at 719 Pollokshaws Road, in Strathbungo, beside the likes of Gusto & Relish, Marchtown, Gnom and the Stag & Thistle, meaning there are plenty of options available in the area for hungry southsiders.

Little is known about how the interior of the new venue will look, however we've made contact with the owners to find out more details about the upcoming opening.
