New Scottish flight for Rangers fans travelling to Europa League final in Seville

A Scots travel agent has announced they are running a second chartered flight to Rangers' Europa League Final in Seville.

Following the Gers semi-final success against RB Leipzig, Barrhead Travel secured fans a chartered flight to Seville and now the Scottish travel agency has told Glasgow Live that a second chartered flight is now available.

Rangers secured their place in the Europa League Final for the first time in 14 years after a 3-1 victory against RB Leipzig, meaning they will take on Eintracht Frankfurt in Spain on Wednesday May 18 in the final.

But travel is fast becoming an issue with tens of thousands of Rangers fans ready to descend on Seville.

Desperate Gers fans have scrambled to buy tickets for private chartered return flights from Travelbank Holidays - with flights leaving Glasgow at 6am on Wednesday, May 18, and costing £949 for the one-day direct trip.

Punters have been going to extraordinary lengths to secure travel to Spain for the same, with one set of fans even trying to book a hot-air balloon, as reported by the Record.

Now, Barrhead Travel have launched their own two flights to Seville for fans - their two same-day return flights, which will depart from Glasgow on Wednesday 18th May and will return after the match, start at £849pp.

The second of the two chartered flights has been announced today, Tuesday 10 May, and is expected to sell out quickly.

Match day tickets are not included but the the package offers:

  • Direct flight from Glasgow to Seville
  • Return flight from Malaga to Glasgow
  • Coach provided for transport from Seville to Malaga

Transfers between Seville Aiport and Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium are not included in the price.

Interested parties should call Barrhead Travel on 0330 094 8364 to book.
