KOREAN car maker SsangYong has expanded its dealership network with a new outlet in Scotland.
Its range of 4x4s and SUVs can now be bought from DS Dalgleish & Son in Coldstream, Berwickshire.
SsangYong Motors UK boss Nick Laird said: “On the back of the hugely successful launch of the new Rexton and Musso pick-up, we have been looking to attract new dealers. We’re delighted DS Dalgleish & Son has decided to add the brand.”
With the Borders being natural territory for such vehicles to sell well, dealer principal Barry Dalgleish said: “We’re very excited to be joining SsangYong. We were attracted to the brand by great new vehicles that have started coming through from Korea.”
With showrooms in both Coldstream and Galashiels, DS Dalgleish already has the Nissan, Citroen and Subaru franchises, as well as the Fiat Service franchise.
Mr Dalgleish added: “SsangYong has a great product range and, with competitive pricing and a seven-year/150,000-mile warranty, we believe it will do extremely well in our area and we look forward to growing our business.”
