Loganair is to launch new services between Aberdeen, Glasgow and Cornwall Airport Newquay. They are aimed at tourists drawn by the beautiful coast that was the backdrop to the BBC's Poldark period drama.
The Aberdeen service, via Newcastle, will start on 1st April next year, with southbound flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, via Newcastle. Northbound flights will be on Fridays and Sundays, also via Newcastle. There will be non-stop services on Saturdays between Aberdeen and Newquay, and extra flights in each direction on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6 July and 4 September. fares start at £74.99 one way.
Newquay to Glasgow will launch on 22 May, providing a summer service on Fridays and Saturdays from May to September, with additional services on Tuesdays from late June to late August. Fares start at £69.99 one way.
Loganair will also launch a Newquay to Newcastle service on 1st April and Newquay to Norwich from 3 April.
