A new Saltmarket vintage store is to be the only shop in Glasgow to sell an ultra exclusive range of princess shoes - and Disney fans may want to have a peek.
Angela Bare, which opened its doors in the city centre last week, will be one of the few locations in the UK to stock the Disney collaboration with Irregular Choice.
Now the store will put it's best foot forward and sell the whimsical shoe collection when the clocks turn 12 tomorrow.
At the stroke of midday, Irregular Choice will release its latest limited-edition Disney collaboration, a wildly colorful collection of flats and heels inspired by Disney’s best-loved fairytales.
The brand, which is known for its eclectic designs, will feature heels and flats adorned in everything from giant bows to shimmering glitter and characters from the movies like Mulan, Little Mermaid, Aladin and Sleeping Beauty.
The stand out pair, a glittering blue design inspired by Beauty and the Beast comes with star detailing, embroidered characters like Chop and Lumiere and an ornate Bell and Beast figurine at the heel.
This is thought to be the company’s final collaboration with Disney, with previous collections including shoes inspired by Bambi and Star Wars.
Store owner Angela Langton, who opened her east end shop after successfully launching three other locations across England, says she can't wait to bring the unique collection to Glasgow shoppers.
"It's an amazing collaboration that will really brighten up the Saltmarket.
"Glasgow is the perfect place for us really - it is just so quirky and the place has such a buzz.
"People love their vintage here, they love to be different. I've been asked to open a store in Glasgow for years so I just hope that everyone comes and supports us. "
And Angela says this Disney collection could be a historic one for collectors and shoes lovers alike.
She added: "The Disney collection with Irregular Choice is like a work of art - they are intricate, handmade and have so many details.
"People collect them - I have a pair to put in a glass cabinet.
"This could be the last collaboration between Disney and Irregular Choice so I think they could be really valuable. They are a real collectors item."
