A pizza featuring all the Sunday roast staples - including gravy - is among four new additions to the Pizza Hut Delivery menu offering customers a flavour of both home and abroad this summer.
The Roast Dinner Pizza promises all the flavours of the much-loved weekend staple including all the trimmings - roast beef, a gravy base, sage and onion stuffing and roast potato.
It's on sale for only a limited time only, as part of Pizza Hut's new 'staycation' and 'vacation'-inspired menu which is out to capture a flavour of both home and abroad, depending on what suits customers' tastes this summer.
The beef dinner pizza with all the trimmings is expected to be a winner, fusing a favourite home dish and a favourite takeaway choice for customers around Newcastle and the North East.
A company spokesman called it a "showstopper".
It also comes with red onions - alongside the thinly-sliced roast potato slices - which are complemented by a red wine gravy base.
Also new on the menu is a Spanish-style chicken and chorizo pizza, which combines flavours of paprika with smoky sausage and sliced red onion.
Other fresh choices are Italian-style cheese and tomato bites and a new dessert - Ben & Jerry’s salted caramel cookie dough chunks.
Amelia Riba, chief brand officer of Pizza Hut UK & Europe, added: “We’re thrilled about the launch of the new menu items.
"With many families across the UK still deciding between a staycation or vacation this year, we wanted to offer something for all occasions, by showcasing the best of British as well as offering a taste of abroad by bringing the flavours of the Mediterranean to our menu."
The Roast Dinner pizza and Chicken and Chorizo pizza, which start from £13.99, also can be purchased as part of Pizza Hut Delivery’s £22 Meal Deal which includes two large pizzas and a classic side.
