Glasgow south side's burgeoning food and drink scene is to be further enhanced with the opening of new restaurant The Dapper Mongoose.
Work is underway on the new venue which finds its home in the former Bell and Felix at 248 Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands, a short walk from Pollokshaws East train station.
Staff have been teasing southsiders as to what they can expect from the new eatery with a series of work in progress photos on their Facebook page.
The team say the brilliantly-named Dapper Mongoose will be serving up: "High quality fresh produce, sharing plates, great wines, premium spirits and friendly service."
