New Rangers kit revealed as Castore announce long-awaited launch date

Rangers' new home kit has been revealed in a promo image ahead of its launch this week.

Fans have been desperate for a glimpse of the 2020/21 design after the club announced a multi-million pound link-up with Castore.

The club agreed a contract with the emerging Liverpool-based provider in May after the conclusion of their association with Hummel.

And Castore have announced the kit will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, July 1 at 9am.

Concept designs have been circulating on social media and fan forums for weeks but supporters can lay their eyes on the real thing, set to be worn by Steven Gerrard 's side when the Premiership season commences on August 1.

The image features club captain James Tavernier alongside Ianis Hagi, Ryan Kent, Jermain Defoe and Scott Arfield.

The kit itself comes in Rangers ' traditional red, white and blue colour scheme.

Its collar features red and white detailing above the Castore logo and official shirt sponsor 32Red.

Fans will soon be able to get their hands on the new design at a revamped Ibrox megastore.

The in-house outlet has been undergoing a major renovation after the club wrested back control from Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley.
