New Rangers home kit and release date officially unveiled including special nod to club anthem

Hummel have officially unveiled the new Rangers home kit for the 2019/20 season.

The Danish brand announced the revamped design following an online leak on Wednesday which had fans in a frenzy.

The now confirmed strip features a nod to the club anthem "Follow Follow" on the inside and features red and white detailing on the sleeves and collar.

The inscription reads: "For there's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers, No not one, and there never shall be one!"

The design is modelled by first team stars James Tavernier, Scott Arfield and Jermain Defoe and is available for fans to pre-order ahead of an official release on May 24.

Posting on their official Twitter account, Hummel wrote: "The 19/20 @RangersFC home kit by hummel is dedicated to the followers of Rangers FC who are more loyal and passionate than most.

"That’s why we have integrated a line from the popular Rangers F.C. fan song ‘Follow, Follow’ as a part of the jersey design."

The online leak earlier this week featured the now confirmed home shirt and two alternate black and red kits.

Those have not yet been officially unveiled.
