Skills for Care has launched a new online directory to help employers find quality learning and development providers across the sector
The directory has been created to help signpost visitors to the Skills for Care website to endorsed learning and development providers, with information about their courses and details.
Skills for Care’s endorsement framework was created in response to an increasing demand for a sector specific quality mark that promotes excellence in social care learning and development. This will have a direct impact on those who use care and support services.
More than 40 providers and 400 courses make up the directory so far; it has been designed to make searching for training and quality providers as quick and easy as possible. Courses range from general social care ones through to exercise, physical health, medication and business skills for social care settings. You can search by region, keyword or course topic.
The aim of the quality mark is to highlight and celebrate training provision that underpins the core skills, knowledge and values of outstanding adult social care work. Learning providers can achieve endorsement as a recognised provider or a centre of excellence.
