West Lothian has biggest daily Covid-19 spike since winter.
The latest Public Health Scotland data shows that as of June 23 there were 104 new infections in the county.
Across the week between June 15 to June 21 there were another 299 infections recorded.
This means the weekly test positivity is 163.3, taking the county past the Level Four threshold.
Only four of the 37 neighbourhoods in West Lothian have suppressed the contagion over the past week.
Deans in Livingston is the most infectious place, with 13 cases among their 2860 residents over the last seven days.
Nicola Sturgeon this week delayed lifting anymore restrictions but says she believes the vaccination programme will allow her to do so in the coming weeks.
On July 19, it is hoped all 32 council areas will be placed at Level 0.
The new so-called Freedom Day - the date restrictions will end - could be reached by August 9.
The Scottish Government hope to scrap all restrictions, including social distancing, in just seven weeks.
Ms Sturgeon told MSPs the “vast majority” of Scots aged 40 and over will have significant protection against covid by August 9.
She told MSPs: “Of course, we need to remember that vaccination doesn’t provide 100% protection and it won’t be until later in September that all adults will have the protection of full vaccination.
“However, our assessment - on balance and assuming we meet the necessary conditions on vaccination and harm reduction - is that it would be possible and proportionate to lift the major remaining legal restrictions on August 9.
“We will consider and make a final assessment nearer the time of whether - as we hope - this could include the lifting of the legal requirement to physically distance indoors as well as outdoors.”
