West Lothian is now the sixth worst performing region for vaccinations in Scotland.
The latest Public Health Scotland data shows that as of May 4, there had been 61.3 per cent of the population, 90,454 residents, vaccinated with their first dose.
Only Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Stirling sit lower on the PHS tables for the first doses.
A further 25.2 per cent, 37,248 residents, have had the second jag of the vaccine in West Lothian.
Na h-Eileanan Siar remains highest in Scotland, with 84.4 per cent of their residents now having has the first dose, and 47 per cent receiving the second jag.
Having vaccinated most 50-54 year-olds in West Lothian, with 94.7 per cent having had their first dose, younger age groups are now receiving jags.
There have been 41.4 per cent of 40-49 year-olds vaccinated in West Lothian with the first jag, 27.1 per cent of 30-39 year-olds and 18.7 per cent of 16-29 year-olds.
Across Scotland there have now been 62.4 per cent of the country's population, 2,833,761 people, to have received their first jag.
And a further 29.7 per cent, 1,348,050 people, to have had their second dose of the vaccine.
And 664.070 clinically vulnerable people have had their first dose of the vaccine.
