New pub The Ink in the Well opens its doors on Lark Lane just in time for Christmas

One of Liverpool’s most popular streets has welcomed a cosy new pub just in time for Christmas.

The Ink in the Well opened on Lark Lane this weekend, from the team behind Polidor 68, Bookbinder and Love & Rockets.

The new pub, which offers everything from brunch and lunch to Sunday roasts, replaces chinese restaurant Chy, which closed its doors after nine years last month.

The pub is one of Lark Lane’s larger venues, featuring two bars and seating available across the ground and first floors.

The Ink in the Well is open from 9.30am seven days a week, serving brunch, fair trade tea and coffee until mid afternoon, lunch from midday and an array of locally sourced, organic and vegan dishes of an evening.

The new pub offers an extensive drinks menu, including organic and natural wines, cask ales, craft lagers and a full cocktail menu.

Each of The Ink in the Well’s menus has a common thread of ‘doing it right; with 80% produce being organic and locally sourced.
