An industrial site in Birmingham's Gun Quarter is set to be regenerated into a new 25-storey complex containing more than 330 apartments.
New plans have been unveiled to demolish existing buildings at the corner of New Town Row and Princip Street and replace them with three blocks of six, 11 and 25 storeys respectively.
If given the green light by city planners, the scheme would have 145 one-bedroom and 192 two-bedroom units which would be available to buy on the open market.
There would also be secure parking for 175 bikes but only two accessible spaces for cars, according to newly filed documents by applicant Load Estates, a company owned by Taylor Grange Developments’ chief executive Rakesh Doal.

The site currently contains a variety of buildings and uses including a former jewellery packaging plant, car park and residential properties.
The scheme has been designed by Jewellery Quarter-based practice Glancy Nicholls Architects.
The historic Gun Quarter, famed for its manufacture of military and sporting guns from the mid-1600s onwards, has seen a slew of new developments in recent years but these have been almost exclusively private student accommodation.
Despite the historic nature of the district, there are no listed buildings on the application site but several within close proximity.
This latest planning application follows a similar project lodged with Birmingham City Council by Taylor Grange Developments a year ago to be called 'Lancaster Gate'.
The plan was to build 295 apartments in a complex reaching up to 19 storeys on the opposite side of Princip Street next to the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.
