New pizza place Caesars opens in Glasgow south side this week

The south side of Glasgow will this week welcome a new pizza place in the shape of Caesars.

Opening up above McNeills on Torrisdale Street, by Queen's Park station, the food spot will serve up pizzas from this Friday, October 29.

At first, Caesars will open every Friday and Saturday between 5 and 9pm with a short menu of four or five pizzas and sides.

The team behind this tasty new venture say they'll be aiming to use as much local produce as possible while ensuring their menu is at least 50% vegan or vegetarian.

On top of tons of tasty slices, there'll also be a bar at the Torrisdale Street venue, meaning you can enjoy delicious-sounding pizzas alongside some drinks.

Announcing the opening on Instagram, Caesars say: "We’re opening our new pizza spot on the 29th of October from 5-9, up above McNeills pub on Torrisdale street, Glasgow, G42 4PH, and every Friday and Saturday from then on until we can open on more days.

"Starting with a short menu (which we’ll post closer to the time) they’ll be 4/5 pizza and 3 sides to choose from…and by using as much local and Scottish produce as possible (which isn’t hard), we’re going to keep the menu at least 50% vegetarian/vegan.

"There’s also a bar for all your liquid needs too."
