New pizza delivery set to open

A new pizza delivery business has been given permission to open in Livingston.

A former office at the Eucal Business Centre at Craigshill in Livingston will be transformed to house a kitchen and pizza delivery business.

It will be run by Edinburgh-based Pie O My owner Will Greenwell.

His application said: “My intention is to operate a delivery only pizza shop, from a ‘dark kitchen’ on this site. The general public will not have access to collect any items. The Eucal Business Centre is open 24 hours - my proposed hours of operation are estimated to be 1pm to 10pm.

West Lothian Council granted permission for the change of use of the premises.

Craig McCorriston, head of planning, economic development and regeneration said: “This application seeks full planning permission for the change of use of a premise from an office (Class 4) to a pizza production business (Class 5).

"The scale of the unit which the change of use applies to and the nature of the business operation is such that it will not have any adverse implications for the amenity or operation of neighbouring business units.”
