New pink Cardiff City away kit officially released: How much it costs

Cardiff City have officially released their new away kit.

The bold pink design will be worn for the first time on Tuesday evening when the first team take on Forest Green Rovers in a pre-season friendly.

The new adidas shirt has horizontal pin stripes and white trim. It costs £55 for an adult version and £45 for children's sizes.

It will be worn with black shorts (£30 for adults and £25 for juniors) and black socks (£12). It is available to buy here now.

The kit has sparked a mixed reaction, with many fans on social media not keen but others liking the slightly different approach.

Next season represents the final year of Cardiff's current deal with adidas, who have been the club's kit manufacturer since 2015, the campaign which saw the home colours return from red to blue.

It is understood the club have already started speaking with adidas as well as five other companies over a deal to become the kit manufacturers for the 2022/23 season onwards.
