New pictures released as search continues for man, 28, missing for three months

New pictures were released today in an effort to find a 28-year-old man who has been missing for three months.

Uyapo Hayunga-Macha, also known as Theo, was last seen on Beckwith Street, Birkenhead, at 5am on December 4.

Extensive enquiries and searches have been carried out in the Wirral town where he lives, but there have been no confirmed sightings since that date.

Officers are now becoming increasingly concerned for Theo's welfare and would appeal for anyone who has seen him to get in touch.

Today, three new photographs of Theo were released to help try and locate him, along with a picture of the bag he was carrying.

Theo is described as a black man, 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build, with short shaven black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen he was wearing an orange beanie hat, brown North Face coat and carrying a black rucksack and a crossover bag.

Theo, who is originally from Botswana, speaks with a Liverpool/African accent and is also known to frequent Liverpool city centre.

He also has links to the Kent area.

Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Merseyside Police via
