Police have issued new images of Wales' most wanted man on the anniversary of the brutal killing of a Cardiff A-level student.
Aamir Siddiqi was brutally murdered at his family home in Roath on the afternoon of Sunday, April 11, 2010 while waiting for his Quran teacher.
Aamir was the one who opened the door to the two men and they set about attacking him with daggers. They were described by Aamir’s dad as “howling” like animals as they stabbed Aamir multiple times in the torso.
Ben Hope and Jason Richards were found guilty murdering Aamir and the attempted murder of his parents following a four-and-a-half-month trial at Swansea Crown Court.
They were sentenced to 40 years in prison each.
Police believe that it was Mohammed Ali Ege, from Riverside, Cardiff, who paid the pair cash to kill a rival over a collapsed property deal. Drug addicts Hope and Richards got the wrong house and murdered by mistake.
The 42-year-old fled to India before he could be arrested in connection with Aamir's murder, and remains on the run.
He was arrested in India in October 2011 and was awaiting extradition when, on April 12, 2017, he managed to escape while out of prison for a court hearing.
Police have issued news images of him during that arrest:

Four years on, his current whereabouts remain unknown.
Detectives leading the hunt have released new images of Ege which were taken following his arrest in India in 2013 in the hope it will lead to any recent sightings being reported to police.
They continue to work with the National Crime Agency and international law enforcement agencies to trace the Ege and return him to the UK.

The Europol appeal says Ege "is believed to travel extensively with the use of false documentation and may have changed his appearance". It also lists a range of aliases he uses including Ahmed Aheris, Ahmed Ali, Kalid Ali, Muhammed Ali, Tarik Mohamed Ali, Ali Mohammed, and Tarik Ali Mohammed.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "Aamir's family continue to be updated and supported by specially-trained family liaison officers.
"We urge anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mohammed Ali Ege to get in touch."
