New photos released of girl, 14, who hasn't been seen since appearing on Snapchat

Update: Jodie has now been found safe and well

Police have released new photographs of a 14-year-old girl who was last seen on Snapchat maps.

Jodie Pook was last seen on Snapchat maps nearly a week ago after she went missing from her home in Wakefield on September 15.

The 14-year-old, originally from Widnes, moved to the Wakefield area a few months ago but still has family and friends living in Widnes and connections to the Liverpool area.

Jodie was last seen on Wednesday at 7.45pm. At the time she was wearing a black jumper and black knee-length leggings and had curled her hair.

The new pictures show Jodie with both curled and straight hair.

Sister Carla Jade, 29, said her disappearance is "out of character" and there have been no confirmed sightings so far.

Desperate for information on her whereabouts or for Jodie to get in touch, Carla said: "We're growing very concerned for Jodie's welfare now. She's only 14 and from the 15th September it's a long time."

Jodie is described as being around 5ft 4ins tall and of a slim build.

"We just want to know you're safe and to give our baby sister the biggest hug. We all love you.

"We're all very concerned now so if you can see this please get in touch."

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact police in Wakefield on 101 or via the West Yorkshire Police website.

The log reference is 1807 of 15 September.
