The former France Under 21s star made history ten years ago when he became the youngest-ever keeper to play in Ligue 1 at the age of 16 years and 310 days for Toulouse, beating the record previously held by former France No.1 Mickael Landreau.

And he is desperate to challenge Polish international Bartłomiej Dragowski for Panathinaikos' No.1 spot this season.

He said: "I want to be clear, I am 100% ready to play in the Champions League if I am needed.

"It’s a new adventure for me and I’m happy to be here and I can't wait to play.

"Panathinaikos are a very big club that everyone in Europe knows.

"I want to help the club challenge for the title and go as far as we can in Europe."
