New on DVD: 'Triangle of Sadness' takes aim at modern class struggle

An award-winning satire tops the DVD releases for the week of April 25.

"Triangle of Sadness": Swedish director Ruben Ostlund's Cannes Palme d'Or winner takes aim at the 1% as a luxury cruise goes awry, upsetting the balance of power for the ultra-rich passengers and members of the yacht's crew.

"Yes, some of 'Triangle of Sadness' can be broad," writes Boston Herald critic James Verniere in his review. "But on the whole the film is a funny and trenchant satire of our ridiculous state of affairs."

"My Happy Ending": Andie MacDowell plays a major movie star who seeks chemotherapy treatment at a clinic in England, finding friendship and connection along the way.

"Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen, Part One": DC's superhero team partners with the Remnant heroes in this animated film.

"Star Trek: Lower Decks - Season Three": This animated "Star Trek" spinoff from Paramount+ boldly launches a third season following the crew of the USS Cerritos on their adventures.

"Kompromat": French espionage thriller about a diplomat who unwittingly ends up on the wrong side of Russia's intelligence agency.

"Small Axe": Criterion Blu-ray release of director Steve McQueen's BBC/Amazon anthology series exploring London's West Indian community from the 1960s to 1980s.
