New OL Justin Murray expected to start at RT for Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals did not announce the lineup change but based on pregame warmups, it appears we know who will start at right tackle. With regular starter Marcus Gilbert out with a knee injury and inactive for the season opener against the Detroit Lions,

As the team took the field for warmups, it was Justin Murray lining up at right tackle with the starting offense.

Murray was acquired on a waiver claim last wee after he was cut by the Oakland Raiders. He appeared in two games last season for Oakland and is now on his sixth team in four years. Those two games in 2018 are the only two of his NFL career.

The team is excited about his acquisition. They saw him up close in the preseason. He played 24 snaps for the Raiders in their game against the Cardinals.

He can play both tackle positions and also guard.
