New Nottingham burger restaurant set to reopen after electrical problem forced closure

It's back to business for a new burger restaurant whose launch weekend was scuppered by an electrical power outage. YUM Burger will throw open its doors for a second time this Saturday, July 2, and will honour the half-price burger deal to celebrate the new flagship site in Sneinton.

Customers were left disappointed when the industrial cooking equipment suddenly went off on June 18 at 10pm. The business has been closed ever since for an investigation into the problem and for parts to arrive from America.

However, all is back to normal and the restaurant will open its doors once again at 2pm on Saturday, when a long queue is expected. Last time a trail of eager food lovers snaked around the building in Sneinton Dale, which was once The Dale Hotel pub before it closed down.

The family-run business, which also has sites in Walsall and Derby, prides itself on affordable prices. The All Day Erry Day Burger starts at just £1.50, although this weekend it will be even better value for money at 75p. There's also something for all tastes too with beef, chicken, fish and veggie patties, washed down by shakes and mocktails. The 50 percent offer will be available both Saturday and Sunday.
