New NIFL Championship season to kick-off on November 28

The new NI Football League Championship season will kick-off on Saturday, November 28.

It has been confirmed that the 2020/21 campaign will be played over 22 games, and end on May 22.

NIFL released the fixtures on Friday, including the opening day's schedule which includes some big games.

Last season's runners-up Ballinamallard United will host third-placed Loughgall at Ferney Park, while Premier Intermediate League champions Annagh United kick-off life in the second tier at home to Institute, who relegated from the Premiership.

Elsewhere, Dundela and Ards meet at Wilgar Park, and Ballyclare Comrades welcome Knockbreda to Dixon Park.

Newry City are at home to Dergview, while Queen's University entertain HW Welders.
