New NHS shop opening in the Baltic Triangle to say thank you to staff

A new shop is set to open in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle and it’s dedicated to NHS staff.

Red Brick Market , based in Cains Brewery Village, closed its doors in March when all non-essential stores were ordered to close to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Owners of the market, which recently celebrated its second birthday, have been using the time on lockdown to come up with a plan to say thank you to the NHS staff working tirelessly during the pandemic.

The new store, NHShop, will stock carefully selected, new and pre-loved clothing and homewares - and all proceeds will be donated to NHS charities.

Chris Day, owner of Red Brick Market, said: “To house NHShop here, within the walls of Red Brick, seemed like the least we could do.

“Our aim is to say a huge thank you to all the NHS frontline staff and other key workers, who have been working on behalf of us all during this time.

“We hope that returning customers and those that haven’t visited us before, will help us to say thank you by supporting the new NHShop.”

NHShop will launch as soon as Red Brick Market is able to safely open its doors again, and will be open seven days a week.
