The opening of a new Next clearance store in Ayrshire has created 23 jobs for locals.
The fashion retailer revived its popular discount Irvine shop — dubbed Next Outlet — just three years after pulling out of the town.
And the doors to the Riverway Retail Park unit were finally opened to the public on December 13, 2021.
Next closed a clearance shop in the town's Riverway Retail Park in the summer of 2018 and later became Sports Direct.
They had initially planned to axe the store in 2016 but an 11th hour U-turn saw it remain open and meant staff kept their jobs.
Now the Outlet store is based at the same retail park but has taken the unit previously occupied by Currys.
