New Netflix Jurassic World trailer sparks excitement as it unveils a bite-size taster of what to expect

Netflix seems all set for another roaring success as it offers up a sneak peek of its upcoming new animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

The Jurassic Park spin-off, which sees the streaming service team up with DreamWorks Animation, is due to hit the screen next year but it seems that fans might well struggle to wait that long.

Once the trailer clip - showing an animated dinosaur in action - was released on Twitter, it soon had almost 9,500 'likes' and the positive response included much excitement and comments such as: "graphics look better than I expected from the poster".

Some posted dinosaur clips in response, accompanied by an excited roaring "yaaaas!" and adding: "so excited".

The Netflix clip shows an angry dinosaur against the backdrop of tense music before it loses its rag and leaps at the camera.

Dan Latin Vail wrote "cool"; self-confessed Jurassic Park fan Fede remarked: "This looks fantastic!" while another, Justin J. Peterson, wrote: "I'm 1000% in!" and Ashton said: "This does put a smile on my face".

And one Twitter user, called Shamu the blackfish, added of the trailer: "This shatters my expectations. I'm beyond excited for this."

When the full story of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous finally airs in 2020 it will tell of a group of teenagers who arrive on the island of Isla Nublar to visit an adventure camp.

Naturally, they will be in for more of an adventure than they had anticipated when resident dinosaurs reveal themselves.
