New Neapolitan pizzeria Leopardo Pizza opening at Glasgow Fort

Glasgow is set to welcome a new pizzeria, with a new food and drink spot coming to Glasgow Fort.

Leopardo will serve Neapolitan pizzas with a planned opening date later next month.

Leopardo comes from the team behind the award-winning Bread Meats Bread with their social media accounts earlier this week announcing they were looking forward to their 'sister restaurant' opening up at the Fort.

Teasing what Glaswegians can expect on the Leopardo website, the owners say: "Leopardo is coming to Glasgow Fort and we can’t wait to welcome you in!

"Get ready to enjoy Neapolitan-style pizzas made using the finest ingredients and with delicious leopard-spotted crusts that come from being cooked in at 500 degrees in specially imported Italian ovens.

"From Naples with love."

Leopardo is due open up at Glasgow Fort on September 29.
