Rapper Zebra Katz, AKA Ojay Morgan, emerged blinking from the New York underground scene into the bright lights of Paris Fashion Week earlier this year when his minimal, bass-heavy Ima Read was hand-picked by designer Rick Owens to soundtrack his autumn/winter collection. Spacious, effortlessly cool and fantastically sweary, Ima Read was then released via Diplo's Mad Decent imprint Jeffree, while Katz went on to support Lana del Rey on tour (he's also supporting Azealia Banks later this year). Released just after, Ima Read was his collaboration with producer Boyfriend on the charmingly titled Winter Titty EP. For no other reason than it enabled him to hang around in a posh hotel wearing a gimp mask, he's now decided to release a video – premiered here – for the EP's drip-feed lead track, W8WTF. Filmed in black and white and featuring a slightly worse for wear Katz remembering the previous night's antics, its over-lit closeups and slow panning shots suit the claustrophobia of the song itself, the whole thing disintegrating into a slow, sorry comedown.
