New music: Taylor Swift, Brian Wilson, Sarah Reeves deliver albums

Here are three upcoming November music releases that should be on your radar:

“Red (Taylor’s Version),” Taylor Swift

The multiplatinum pop star is set to release “Red” for the second time. Of course, this time around it’s “Taylor’s Version” — a rerecording/reimagining of Swift’s original “Red” from 2012. It features a number of guest stars, including Chris Stapleton and Phoebe Bridgers, and includes some bonus songs not featured on the original album. This is Swift’s second rerecorded album, following “Fearless (Taylor’s Version).” This rerecording campaign is reportedly Swift’s rebuttal to the change of ownership to the masters of her first six albums. Due out Nov. 12.

“At My Piano,” Brian Wilson

Sticking with the theme, the Beach Boys genius is also revisiting some of his most beloved material. “At My Piano” is a solo piano set from Wilson, featuring new instrumental versions of such all-time great songs as “God Only Knows,” “Good Vibrations” and “California Girls.” Due out Nov. 19.

“More the Merrier,” Sarah Reeves

The Alabama singer-songwriter, who signed her first record deal at the age of 18, is set to release a new Christmas EP. “More the Merrier” features such seasonal favorites as “Go Tell It On the Mountain” and “Holly Jolly Christmas” as well as some new original compositions. It follows last year’s full-length effort “Life Love & Madness.” Due out Nov. 12.
