New music out now: From Davido's latest track to Kaytranada's Dua Lipa remix

The weekend was a good one for new music, with Everything Everything, Doves and the Flaming Lips among the artists all delivering killer albums.

Aside from them though, there were a number of great new releases that might have flown under your radar.

We've got new banger from the world of Nigerian pop, an unexpected live album, a remix of a disco-pop favourite and more.

Here's the new music you might have missed.

Best Coast — Live At World Cafe

We always love a surprise release, and especially so when it’s from one of the best indie-rock outfits in the game, Best Coast. The LA duo have dropped this new live album, recorded in Philadelphia earlier this year before the release of their latest album, Always Tomorrow.

Chance The Rapper and Ludacris — Found You

Ludacris and Chance The Rapper have teamed up for this new cut, with the former rapping on the verses and the latter delivering a tender hook. Timbaland is the man behind the smooth grooves of the production.

Kaytranada — Don’t Start Now (Dua Lipa Remix)

Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia was a smash, and Don’t Start Now was one of the album’s very best tracks. Now, it’s been given the Kaytranada treatment, with the Canadian producer taking the original song’s funk and shining it through a jazzy prism.

Davido — FEM

Davido is one of Nigeria’s biggest stars, but for past three months he’s been silent on social media. Over the weekend, he returned to Instagram and Twitter and brought with him a brand new track, the breezy, infectious FEM.

Clairo — Untitled

Rising star Clairo — who released one of the best albums of 2019 with Immunity — played at A. G. Cook’s virtual Appleville festival over the weekend. Armed only with an acoustic guitar, she performed two new, as-yet-untitled tracks. The 22-year-old wrote that she had “no idea when these will see the light of day” — but it’s a tasty tidbit for fans hungry for new material.
