New mural appears in Glasgow's south side in tribute to Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison

A new mural in tribute to late Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison has appeared in the southside of Glasgow.

The colourful artwork, located on Allison Street in the Govanhill area, was done by local illustrator Alex Coyle and was spotted by nearby craft beer specialists Wee Beer Shop.

The illustrator posted an image of the work on his Instagram page alongside the caption: "Tribute to Scott Hutchison. Thought I would raise some awareness for the charity Tiny Changes set up in his name and pay homage to the legend Scott."

The new mural comes days after Rev Dr Martin Fair, who founded a mental health support service in the wake of the Scott's death, was chosen as the next moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.

Meanwhile on Thursday of last week, Chicago indie-rock band Twin Peaks held an intimate event in London in support of Tiny Changes following their sold out show in the city.
