New mum Rachel Riley cradles baby Maven on stroll for her daily exercise

Doting mum Rachel Riley beamed as she stepped out for a leisurely stroll with newborn Maven.

Rachel, who gave birth in December, looked fresh faced and oozed positivity with her daughter strapped to her chest.

She shares Maven with former Strictly hunk Pasha Kovalev, who she met during her stint on the show in 2013.

The Countdown presenter, 34, cut a stylish figure in dark blue jeans, trainers and fluffy jacket, as little Maven sat in her papoose and a bear onesie.

She wore her signature blonde tresses in a tight bun, resting a pair of sun glasses on her head.

Rachel seemed to be chatting to a pal on FaceTime, as she turned the phone so that whoever was on the other end could say hi to Maven.

Maven has become a staple of Rachel's social media since she came into the world.

Rachel's most recent offering showed her flashing a smile at Maven as she grabs her mum's hand.

"Four months together already," she wrote, "There really is nothing like it. #babygirl."

Maven's even graced the airwaves after Rachel and Pasha brought her out on Countdown to meet her work pals.

Rachel and Pasha gave their daughter a Yiddish name after she became embroiled in a social media campaign to oust antisemitism in the Labour Party.

Rachel, who is Jewish herself, previously told that her pregnancy was affected as a result of the vile trolling she received.

"I was very stressed and upset for a couple of days," she revealed to the Mirror, "And my baby stopped wriggling for a few days.

"So at that point it's like, 'Do you know what? Nah.' It's not worth the hormones.

"I've now changed most of my Twitter settings as you don't need to see them.

"They're not after proper debate. They're not after their minds changing. They're not doing it for virtuous reasons, so I block them."
