New mum Kate Ferdinand reveals her Valentine's Day transformation

New mum Kate Ferdinand said she was 'feeling like a new woman' after a Valentine's Day pampering session.

The 29-year-old wife of Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand enjoyed a fun family morning in matching pyjamas - and she told fans on Instagram that she was feeling transformed after painting her nails for the occassion.

Kate, who welcomed baby boy Cree at Christmas, posted pictures of her footballer pundit husband in red PJs, love heart sweets and her cute dog Ronnie with his own personalised heart balloon.

And she shared a photo of herself cradling Cree in a red and white heart patterned baby grow.

Former TOWIE star Kate wrote: "Happy Valentines to you all we are having a fun family morning in our matching pjs chilling eating sweets.

"Hope you all have a lovely day.

"P.S. I painted my nails red and I’m feeling like a new woman."

Kate later posted a picture of herself taking a selfie in the mirror with an elegant look for Valentine's Day.

She wowed in a black dress accessorised with a gold love heart belt and romantic red lip shade to match her nail colour.

"Belt & red’s for V day," she wrote.

And the compliments came pouring in.

"Beautiful," said one follower.

"Very classy Mrs F," said another.

"Love that lip colour!!!" praised another.

"Gorgeous," another fan told her.

Kate, who is a doting stepmum to Rio's children Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, has been sharing her journey after giving birth for the first time with open and honest posts on her Instagram.

Last month she wrote about taking Cree to be registered that she had done her hair and makeup for the first time in six weeks.

"Tia’s words were .. ‘Kate’s back'" she said.

"I went to register Cree (without him because of Covid rules) ... so it was also the first time in 6 weeks I’ve left the house with no kids or dogs ... I shouted woo-hoo as I left. No joke!"

She added: "Mums I hope you can feel me here, we love our kids so much but wow it was nice to get out and think in peace without hearing 'Kate, Kate, where’s Kate?' Or a baby crying!

"I’ve been jealous of Rio leaving for work suited and booted, putting on his aftershave with a little spring in his step while I’m looking like I’ve been dragged through a hedge!!"
