New mum Iskra Lawrence praised as she suffers 'leaky boobs' during live video

Iskra Lawrence has reaped the praise of new mothers all over the world after she suffered a breastfeeding mishap.

The supermodel, 29, welcomed her first child with long-term love Phillip Payne just under a month ago.

Naturally, she's still getting to grips with the workings of her new body which carried her precious baby daughter for nine months.

Taking to her Instagram Stories this morning to share an update from lockdown, the blonde bombshell suffered an unfortunate mishap when she realised that her breast milk was leaking through her top while filming for her 4.6million followers.

The stunner wore a revealing grey coloured top which made the accident all the more noticeable, but thankfully, Iskra saw the funny side to the embarrassing situation.

Upon realising that her milk had seeped through to her top, she laughed it off and admitted that she's still figuring out how her new body works, and all the weird and wonderful things it does since she gave birth to her first child.

She said: "I was about to film an Instagram Story and then saw my nipples. Oh bloody hell! Oh well, anyhoo - we still go on!".

Iskra went on to tell her fans and followers alike that she normally wears breast pads to absorb the liquid.

Despite this fact, she candidly admitted that she didn't want the unflattering motherhood essentials to show while modelling a 'cute grey sports bra'.

Fans rushed to flock the model with praise due to her unbothered and 'real' reaction to the mishap.

"This is a true testament to how lovely you really are! What a great reaction!" shared one impressed follower.

"Iskra you are a true gem. What a lucky little lady your daughter is to have such a real mother like you" another echoed.

While a third wrote: "This is the most empowering this I have seen in such a long time. Well done you!".

It comes after the British model delivered her baby through a home birth last month amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Taking to Instagram after welcoming her bundle of joy into the world, the star spoke about how she had been overdue to give birth by three days before finally going into labour while at home.

Discussing the birth of her child with partner and former football athlete Philip Payne, Iskra writes: "I have no idea how to even think right now let alone 'do an announcement post' but I feel so close to so many of you - you’ve been my online fam for so many years and I’m beyond overwhelmed to tell you baby P has arrived and me and daddy are taking time to be in awe that we are now a family of three."

The new mum then went on to discuss how this huge life moment will lead to a reduction in her social media use.

She explained: "When I’m ready I cannot wait to share more details with you all on my home birth and this tiny human that we love beyond measure. I cannot thank you all enough of the love and support through this journey.
