New movies coming to Sky Cinema and NOW TV in December and Christmas 2019

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

So, if you are looking to find some good watches on Sky Cinema and NOW TV across December and the Christmas period then look no further.

Headlining the month has to be the release of the biggest movie of all-time: Avengers Endgame.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe film continues on from Avengers Endgame and focuses on the founding Avengers teaming up with their few remaining allies to put an end to the evil Thanos and his murderous actions once and for all.

The Grinch - December 6

In a new animated version of the Dr Seuss’ Christmas classic, this family film follows the tale of the Grinch (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), who lives in a cave on Mount Crumpet with his loyal dog Max.

After vowing to ruin Christmas for the residents of Whoville, will this greedy misery discover that he has been getting it wrong this whole time?

Escape Room - December 7

A group of teens are taken and forced to take part in a twisted game in which they must escape if they want to survive.

Mary Queen of Scots - December 22

This historical drama follows the difficult relationship between rival queens and cousins, the passionate and betrayed Mary Queen of Scots (Saoirse Ronan) and the powerful but insecure Queen Elizabeth I (Margot Robbie).

Mary Poppins Returns - December 25

As a Christmas Day treat, return to Cherry Tree Lane for the comeback of practiacally perfect nanny Mary Poppins (now played by Emily Blunt), who returns to save the Banks family once more. Also stars Ben Whishaw, Meryl Streep, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Avengers Endgame - December 26

The Aftermath - December 31

In this post-war drama, Rachel (Keira Knightley) joines her colonel husband (Jason Clarke) in Hamburg and shares a house with architect Stefan (Alexander Skarsgard) and finds herself feeling a passion unlike any ever before. But will the consequences of the war make this love affair impossible?
