Archerfield Walled Garden, near Direlton in East Lothian, have announced that they are set to close their doors for three months for a major refurbishment project.
Closing their doors for 12 weeks from the 4th of January, the popular attraction will be opening a huge garden shop and retail space and a covered outdoor seating area.
The best bit? There's going to be a Mimi's Bakehouse 'Boutique' opening its doors at the Walled Garden!
The cafe at the venue already stock Mimi's cakes - the only place to buy Mimi's cakes outside their own Edinburgh cafes - but we can't wait to see what the 'Boutique' brings!
The interior of the building will be redesigned and redecorated and Archerfield will also be expanding their cafe, which will feature a new style of service when the venue reopens.
The kitchen team will be led by their new Head Chef Duncan Adamson and there will be a renewed focus on serving food with a ‘garden to plate’ ethos.
