New Midlands ecosystem manager at NatWest

High street bank NatWest has appointed a new regional ecosystem manager for the Midlands and east of England to support small businesses with their growth ambitions.

Debbie Lewis has taken on the role which will see her deliver tailored, entrepreneurial support though a series of events including Business Builder workshops and through the bank’s accelerator programme which is based in Brindleyplace, Birmingham.

This initiative supports businesses from the idea stage through to scale-up.

She previously worked as a local enterprise manager in the east of England where she built and fortified relationships across four counties with business support organisations and SMEs.

A former entrepreneur herself, Ms Lewis successfully scaled and exited a chain of hair and beauty salons before starting a career in coaching and is still involved in salon industry support.

She is a passionate ambassador for apprenticeships and women in business.
